Testing services from one source means for you: One test centre with many laboratories under one roof

We work independently, competently and interdisciplinarily on the tasks relevant to you in our innovative test laboratory in Bochum on more than 4000 square metres – or also during on-site measurements.

All tests and trials from a single source: tedious routes between different laboratories are thus eliminated. Due to continuous development of our testing equipment, we are also prepared for future testing requirements.

AKUVIB is a certified and accredited testing laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for the fields of acoustics, environmental simulation, vibration technology, non-destructive material testing and EMC.

In these fields, AKUVIB has flexible accreditation due to its competences and can carry out accredited tests according to customer specifications based on standards.

Furthermore, we are a notified measuring centre according to §29b of the Federal Immission Control Act for noise and vibrations and have the approval according to §7 of the Explosives Act PT₁ and PT₂ for handling pyrotechnical materials (e.g. airbags).

Due to our flexible accreditation, AKUVIB offers you the possibility to carry out accredited tests according to in-house standards or based on/modified from existing standards. We develop testing standards for you and carry out research on your behalf.

AKUVIB is a member of numerous testing and standardisation committees. Thus, we are always up to date for your research support.
