Noxious gas testing is used to reveal the susceptibility of components to corrosion
During use, almost all materials are exposed to air pollutants such as sulfur dioxide. In combination with a corresponding air humidity, this leads to corrosion damage, especially in metallic materials.
Pollutant gas tests are used for corrosion testing and to determine the aging rate of metals, plastics and glasses.
AKUVIB has a noxious gas climate control system with special analytics and measuring equipment for the exact determination of the gas concentrations. This allows the execution of standard-conform tests according to DIN EN 60068-2-60 Method 4.
